Can't see any use for the Beta wishbones.
And those are twin cam engine mounts aren't they?
I don't recognise the rack as the Litton item either. Is it Chevette?

Still not seeing 18K - and the extra photo's just reinforce that view. I can't see even half that value in it.
Looking at the standard of work with the pedal box, brakes and steering I would be viewing any of the work done on it up to now with deep suspicion.

Out of curiosity - did the factory modify the hubs by welding the tube on the bottom to suit the lower wishbone - and if they did, why leave the steering arm on?

Looking at this John - could it be a Beta rack?

I think the Seller needs to put in a bit more effort if they are to get anywhere near the price being asked.

Agreed Andrew. I guess it's easy at the moment with the supply and demand situation to think that buyers will be queuing up. But I think we know you would have to put a lot of work in with that kit to get the desired result.

I hear what you are saying at ?18k but ?10k could be more realistic asking price.
Comparatively by todays standards a chassis would be ?5k as would a body set. After that you have a full set of wishbones and the modified rear hubs.
The pedals are scrap, the rack is scrap, the glazing is probably history as well as the screen will have delaminated and the side screens won't be E marked.

The rear hubs were modified by Litton, I can remember seeing the precut webs at Halton Gill.
They were maybe done on an exchange basis & I guess it was left to the customer to cut the original steering arms off if they fancied it.
I've seen cars with and without the arms in the past.

Classifieds generally run for 30 days so I expect it would have just timed out again.
