I never went to Abingdon.
I thought the only real one to go to Abingdon was Andrew Ferguson's yellow Stradale.
Martin Cliffe of 'Omicron' has owned the red, original Stratos 'stradale' which he brought on Sunday since 1985.
Ah! Of course should have realised it was the Omicron car given the occasion.
No, we had a red Stradale show up at Abingdon one year and the story was that it belonged to Jos Verstappen and well used for travelling Europe between Grand Prix.

Was it Geoff Crabtree's car John? (my photo from Coy's Historic Rallysprint Silverstone 1998 when Bjorn Waldegard drove it - into the armco too!)
