The advice on the rear wheels in the build manual is probably for a 4 Pot S chassis. I am not sure you could get away with an 8" at zero offset on an Alfa I even with arches.

I think I might still have the same problem with the ET20, since the manual specifies an 8" zero offset on the rear!

I do have the extended rear arches, but was trying to avoid doing any major bodywork changes until after passing IVA, as I am still unsure if I am going to go that direction.

If I can get at least a 9" underneath the rear, which I think should be possible then I will not bother.

How does your front wheel sit when fitted to the rear of the car?
That is an 8 x 16" with an offset off approx 30mm

That I am still yet to try. And I was going to try to work out the offset if not stamped on the wheel itself.

Or look for the receipt and see if it states the measurements. I know the fronts are 8x16 and rears are 10x17.

I shall try later this evening.

They were ordered using the "C" dimension as reference rather than an offset.
The "C" dimension for the front wheel was 80mm which is the distance from the bolting face to the outside of the wheel rim.

My 8s from the front do not fit.

Trying to do a very quick measurement on the rear up from the brake disc, with wishbones inline with the bottom of chassis, I have about 30mm until the edge of the bodywork - that doesn't seem that much.

I might have to revert to putting extended arches on, I believe a 9inch would fit under there and not hit the suspension or wishbones.

I think you might be right.

If the manual said an 8 inch with zero offset, then I would have thought the gap should have been 101.6mm ish (25.4 X 8 / 2) if my math skills are correct - or am I just missing something.

I know the wishbones are not set to the correct lengths, but there is not 70mm of adjustment

    Plan B it is then.

As my prior comment - I think the manual advice is for a Beta engine S chassis - not an Alfa I chassis - Each type is a different width - Not sure if all the S type chassis are the same width - Craig may be able to confirm?

You are near right with your math - But an 8" wheel is 9" wide so you need to watch for that when calculating and the rim is getting close to the arch

There is some adjustability with the rod ends and a little bit of extra negative camber adjustment can pull the top of wheels in if it gets really close. Just don't overdo it.

You have a nice set of coffin spokes and the GP4 square arch is the best looking Stratos so I do not see a downside myself. You may find some 6J 5x112 steels from an Audi or a Passat with a silly offset if you hunt for some . A set of space savers may give that Ice rally event vibe but not sure the speed rating will work

I agree I have some nice arches and wheels. I was just trying not to do any bodywork before IVA. If I could help it.

Really appreciate everyone help and advice. This forum is the best I have been apart of. So very helpful
