MOMO collapsible hub-kit complete with adapted FIAT X19 column-boss.
Genuine Momo part, no.C6606, adapted to bolt onto original (cut-down) OE Fiat X19 steering-wheels centre-boss.
Fiat boss a useful thing in own right, as adapter of wider application for other hubs - machined to accept (4x) threaded bolts (included) which join the one onto the other. Meaning easily fits onto any Fiat X19 (21-spline) steering column of the sort used in most Stratos replicas.
For safety purposes, hub is designed to be collapsible,to satisfy UK IVA test requirements. Designed with the usual 6 mounting holes (PCD 70mm) means a suitable MOMO or SPARCO steering-wheel can fit onto overall assembly. (6x Allen-headed bolts are included).
MOMO Steering Wheel Hub Kits are designed to receive any own brand steering wheels, plus wide range of after-market wheels - including Sparco, OMP, Mountney, Richbrook & Simoni Racing. (But not Nardi, Personal, Ford or Ferrero).
N.B: Please check particular brand & size of steering wheel youve in mind for your replica is compatible in terms of type; PCD & dish-depth (etc.) BEFORE buying this set. See my photos for measurements.
Hub kit comprises following (17) parts:
- (1x) MOMO safety hub & collapsible framework, part number C6606;
- (1x) rubber bellows/cover to conceal that framework in normal use;
- (1x) circular (cut-down) FIAT X19 steering-wheel boss (21-spline);
- (4x) bolts (& washers) to fasten MOMO hub-framework to FIAT boss;
- (6x) bolts to fasten a suitable steering wheel (not supplied) onto the hub.
This kit originally fitted to get a Hawk replica through IVA, then stayed on the car for a few years in regular use till now.
