Craig and I took the car over to Derby Testing Station this morning, all went pretty well and 2 hours later was issued with a PASS Certificate.
Huge thanks to Craig, Lydia, Ash, Chris, Luke and Paul for all their input and guidance in getting me this far.
I did approx 8 hrs of shakedown motoring prior to IVA without a problem, car ran well, no overheating issue's, no leaks, all the potential sparks and flames stayed within the wiring loom etc. It felt really good and responsive with direct steering and firm ride.
Briefly it?s a Grp4 Square Arch Shell, Toyota 2GRFE Motor and Evora Gearbox, the colour scheme is a tribute to Massimo Lugli and Enrico Sabatini who rallied in the Italian National Championship in the early 1980?s.
Will post mor photo?s when fully liveried up
Cheers
Phil
PS, Helen has christened the car "Massimo"
