    It was good to see Ian, Phil. I never got an update after benefitting from his misfortune (Cornbury) last year.

    While I'm on, what is it with Richard in the Pirelli car? I can't believe how much stuff he knows about old cars at his age.

    You're not the first person to have asked that question... I guess I've just become a sad old git already! I guess I've always been around old cars, admittedly usually British ones, and it's in the blood a bit too, so that always helps.

    To echo everyone else's comments, many thanks for making it a fantastic day. It was great to finally meet all of you and I look forward to seeing you all again soon! Was good to have two Pirelli cars together too, and yes, I too spotted quite a few double takes as we convoyed to Sherwood Restorations! I'd quite like the works replica Healey 3000, please - if anyone has £65,000!

    Thank you Phil & Helen for a fantastic day, seeing new faces, lovely cars to see in your garage Phil, The restoration visit was the icing on the cake to round off a fantasic day.
