Gents I've taken on a bit of a challenge I'm trying to raise ?1 million, to help towards Cornwall Air Ambulance purchase of an additional helicopter John Griffin is fundraising for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust (justgiving.com) Could I ask all of you to contribute what ever you can spare?
The air ambulance is vital in getting the critically ill to hospital in the golden hour. 20% of the people unfortunate enough to need the air ambulance reside outside the county of Cornwall. So if you live in Cornwall, or visit the county for work or pleasure, your donation might contribute to the helicopter the day you need its help. Please help as much as you can, every ? pound counts
To swim a 1,000,000 metres in a year, I have to swim 4000 metres (160 lengths) a day, six days a week for a year. That in imperial is 621.37 miles, the distance from Newquay to the Orkney Isles.

To assist in this effort I am going to swim 1,000,000 metres (40,000 lengths of a normal 25 metre swimming pool) in the calendar year.
I started on the 2nd January 2024, and must complete the entire distance by the 31st December.
Currently, I passed 300,000 metres three days ago, so it's going well, and the total raised stands @ ?1280:00p
