I met some people at the Bridgnorth Italian Automoto Festival today also suggesting I go to this so. So I have now put in the online form as a Stratosec exhibitor.

just booked in to attend Saturday and Sunday, lets hope the weathers a bit better this year
Also Tim M is booked in to attend in his car on the Sunday
Most likley for one day. Not clear yet where we (the exhibition cars) are located versus viewing the stages or the service areas ? And how we get to the stages if not in our own cars which then would no longer be parked for exhibiting ? And do the exhibition cars have to be static at particular times or can move around whenever ?
Chris last year’s event at western park
was all concentrated within one area
ie cars being displayed various car clubs
large marquee beer tent with live music in the evening
a few food vans etc
we left our cars locked and walked around to different viewing points
there’s lots of trade stalls.
completely different venue this year
but I’m shore it will be set out similar
so there should be no need to drive anywhere once your in.
look forward to meeting up
A couple of photos from today when the sun shined on us. Plenty of interest. One lady said seeing them made her cry! I was just a day tripper whereas Basher/Neil were camping overnight. Thought the event meet and greet was the highlight as you could stand right next to the event cars and see/talk to the crews.

Great to catch up with Chris, Dave & Tim Marlklew over the weekend. The organisers changed the format this year having lost access to Weston Park. Creating a Multi venue event at the Aspley and Wiley Estates with service in Telford. The change created a number of timing and organisational issues and wasn't as slick as last year. Hopefully they can learn and build from this as there were some decent looking woodland sections, potential for a great event to showcase some amazing machines.
Highlights for me was were the ex works Safari 037 (missed the photo as it didn?t run on the Sunday), a couple of short wheelbase Quattros and a Grp4 M2 Bastos liveried Escort been driven at full chat. The event also had a a scheduled meet & greet with the drivers & their cars at the mid point on Saturday which created a lot of interest for the spectators.
Dave & I were last cars standing on the Sat night in the display area and ?keep to the path? & ?beware the moon? spring to mind on the (rough)camping but we survived the night and the cow %&@$. Tim & his mate Andy joined us on the Sunday and the rain held off.

Since the demise of the Rallyshow (Chatsworth) and now also the Rallyday (Castle Combe), it's good to still have at least one event like this.
