    Keighley Show 7th September 2024

Tree and I went to Keighley Show today.
Weather forecast yesterday was 0% rain all day and sunnny.
This morning the forecast was some sunny intervals and mostly cloud, Well it tipped down most of the day.
Anyway a man came up in a dry moment and said "I used to weld these chassis up in Skipton sidings for Hugh Carson."
His name was Graham Hambrey and he sends his best to Craig

Graham was a gentleman. I'm guessing he's retired now?
Your was the last chassis he did for Napiersport

    John.
As someone said (Norm I think), I must have now met everyone who worked on bits for Litton/Carson/Napiersports.
Mind you I never met Lionel

A shame Steve really, Whilst Lionel has had some bad press on here I personally have never had an issue with him.
I did also meet Graham a good few times back in the day so thank you for passing his regards on.
Graham became lead fabricator at what was Guest Fabrications after it transitioned from Holder Fabs.

I guess ones personal opinion of Lionel is dependent upon how much money he's cost you.
If you are not out of pocket then he could be viewed as a nice old guy. If he's cost you thousands ( no exaggeration), plus made pretty personal attacks on you both in public and in court then your opinion could be very different.

As with all things in life there are two sides to every story & it's hard for anyone on here to form an informed opinion without actually hearing both sides of the argument.
As for people costing you money I think many of us will have had bad experiences of that & whilst it is hard at some point we just have to move on.

Whoa! Steve, absolutely nothing to apologise for. Indeed its probably I who should apologise to you.
I've met some really nice people in the Stratos community.
    Graham was one of those.
I'm afraid just the mention of Lionels name does still have an effect on me. As Craig says it's probably time to move on.
I'll just say this though. I regret not saying more back in the day (2008-2009), because a few other people might have been spared hassle and loss. It just particularly aggravates me that I put so much effort and expense in trying to straighten out problems not of my making, only to remain with a shadow on my own character which is totally unjustified.
