This was the original arch to the house (long gone 80 years). Our house is listed as the "Garage"
During WW2 steel was requisitioned and the gates were taken to be melted. Someone removed them and buried them.
They were found not long ago and were hung on Cliffe Castle in Keighley.
Unfortunately access to our house via the original arch in a car is no longer possibly. A bridge a bit further up collapsed in 2010 and the council only put back a footbridge.
