It's a real shame Chris that you don't feel the need to just get out and go for a blast. It looks a beautiful example and I followed your build thread with great interest. You'd be very welcome to join the Stratos owners on any of our occasional gatherings and runs out for a good socialise and you'd have the chance to hear that beautiful Busso orchestra. Please give it a thought,
    Steve

I think the truth is that I stopped enjoying driving a long time ago. That, combined with my misanthropic nature doesn't really lend itself to 'fun' car ownership, hence the sale. I enjoy the challenge of the build far far more than the result.

I've given it a fair go, I just don't think there's much point to it gathering dust in the garage. It distracted me from the misery of existence for a few years, which was good, so there's that.

Thanks Phil. I suppose it is kind of a shame on some levels, but I'm OK with it. I'll continue to lurk...

Shame you're selling it but I understand your reasoning. Was gonna say something along the lines of "shame you can't just sell on the wimmin you're getting no use out of as well" but a drawn-out and painful death would no doubt follow in short order....
Your "coming out" as a misanthrope leads me to conclude you're a Morrisey fan with a full set of Leonard Cohen albums, but don't worry, it could be worse - you could be a lycanthrope instead.

Anyway, good luck with the sale - whoever ends up with it will get a superbly-built motor, and they'll be very unlikely to come across another in the Morrisons car park. Even if that's cos they always go to Tescos.

Lycanthropy might be more fun that whatever the heck this is..... Oddly, I don't actually have any Morrisey or LC in the collection....but I do quite like some of their stuff it must be said.

There's no doubt it's 'uniqueness' is going to make selling it more difficult. It'll only appeal to a small group of people I suspect. On the bright side (I suppose) is that I don't need to sell it nor do I need the money, so it can carry on as is.
