Aw bloody L, Phil, there was no flashing at all in that!
You're right, though, we do all need to get out and do stuff more, whatever it is that floats your boat....even flashing, although such a hobby might not have much of a long-term future for any practitioners (and it's too sodding cold at this time of year, so probably not much to see now I think about it)
Time does pass far too rapidly, taking the Hawk to John o Groats in May, via East/West coasts, I will make notes of speed camera's/road conditions etc. Expecting some pretty massive pot holes along the way!
North Coast 500 roads are pretty good by and large, although our friends camper succumbed to a large pothole.
Better than Cheshire roads certainly.
The road around Loch Eriboll would have made an epic selective back in the day. Would love to drive it in the dark at full chat.
That's where John Lennon crashed his car with Yoko back in '69.....probably channelling his inner Jim Clark. Or maybe he was simply a rubbish driver
In the event of a Grand Tour-type do, I might be able to pull a Borders route together now I live up that way.
That's right Norm. Wasn't it a Austin Maxi or some such?
Summat like that. So John Lennon doing the world a favour![]()
