Can you unscrew the latch on the end of the barrel and cut a thread onto the outside of the barrel for a big nut? May have to ask someone with some decent machines

Ok for the OE lock Kenny, but not for Jeff's.

I've actually got two of those X1/9 1300 lock clips Jeff. I used to cannibalise them to convert the otherwise non locking OE type.
