    Question Vehicle Type Approval

    Vehicle type approval - GOV.UK https://share.google/j8bCz1q5ppzj6oyeC

Just came across this and was wondering if this affects both the Manufacturers and owners? It specifically mentions large scale producers, but not either low volume producers or home builders. I don't think we can assume it doesn't affect us because Governments have a way of steam rolling new legislation through without thinking things fully and disadvantaging those they didn't mean to include.
I'd be interested to hear from the Manufacturers on wether they have been contacted specifically and thoughts from the rest of the Club as to whether we need to lobby the government in connection with this proposal either collectively or individually?
    Cheers!

    Re: Vehicle Type Approval

Im pretty sure by "placed on the market" it means offered for sale as a new vehicle.
I can't see any wording in there which would cast doubt on the IVA route to registration.
