Finally i have one

After many years visiting Stoneleigh Kitcar show from as early as mid 80s to present which is at Malvern now ,I have dreuled over the Stratos kits on show ,But never being able to afford the cost of one
Roll on to 2023 The start of a kit i could afford RSRetro's RS200 as a stepping stone to the ultimate ,A Stratos , After completing the RS and now having sold it finally the money is there ,BUT and here is the big but LB turn key cars only (Where is the fun in that ) and Hawk having a waiting list as long as a lifetime again i thought building my own stratos will never happen ,Then came a message from Steve from Stratos Group4 ltd to go and look at his kits ,So off i went expecting to see a second rate chassis and body cobbled together and to walk away disappoint.
How wrong was i The 2 chassis he had completed and the one in the Jig has to have some of the best welding i have see ,You could tell they had been welded together with care and attention
The fit and finish of the fiberglass is great with what looks to be minimal preparation for the final colour
And the best part is only an 8-12 week lead time so i should be receiving my kit around August /September
So looking forward to sharing the build with you all

Hollytree I am thinking of using the Audi VR6 as i have experience with this power unit

There is a long story about regalia and how i was "stitched up" into being regalia secretary. No names, no pack drill, but they know who they are..........
Whilst I got all the new stuff agreed and ordered, we took down the club regalia page.
I need to talk to Kevin to liven it up again, but for now, all info here.

Soko I am the same as yourself LB turnkey completely out of my price range ,Not only that i want to build my own car .And Hawk waiting list is ridiculously long SG4 Corse was the only way to get one
