Wondering what people on here do for a living, Im guessing that most will be in a 'technical' type job?
Im a generator service engineer, travelling and working in lovely places like this..

Previously Ive also worked a little bit on wind turbines, not very glamerous but makes for better pics:
Ive recently taken a job in the office, so less travelling and more time to spend in the garage!
Wondering what others on here do, probably best not to post pics if you're a mid-wife or work for MI5

Blimey! Definitely more garage time for you then, Ian. Good luck with the job search. You should get paid for the good work you do here!
Some great shots there, Nick.
Love the vertigo inducing shot through the service hatch.
I used to like Arthur's shots of the ships engine rooms he used to work in.
I'm sure there is loads of interesting material for this thread among the members.
So sorry to hear the news Ian, especially with both of you being caught at the same time. All I can say is that there is a silver lining out there somewhere. I know that you'll both get through this together.
So sorry to hear that news Ian, I hope that something comes along for both of you very soon.

Latest thing being burning wood to produce steam - been a long cycle in the return that one.....

As Red5 has said I expect a lot of people on the forum to be doing Engineering/Construction or creative type work.
I don't think I could work in a non engineering role, also how else would you get your car built.
Spent many years building these before moving on to Hovercraft.
Now I spend my time in the design and construction of these, this was a few months ago doing a survey in Pakistan.
