Hope to see Steve Perez's car in Dumfries today. Lots of snow falling now.
Steve Perez's car looked and sounded great in the dark on the first Duncombe Park (SS1) stage last night.
'Don't know how it got through the noise check??
We went to a steep downhill hairpin right which was very slippy. All the cars had trouble making the corner including the slower ones. The Stratos managed not to hit anything by spinning within its length, like a Stratos does. Some didn't get away with it, like Dave Stokes Stefaan Stouf and Phil Collins.

They made it to Dumfries, Just a short stage the car sound just how the should driven in the woods.Sorry no action shots but it was fabulous to watch doing battle against the Escort's. The Fulvia was having a new clutch and did not make the stage which was a shame they should be
back tomorrow for last day.
Some Roger Albert Clark Rally video on here:
Steve's car was probably one of the biggest favorites with the crowds,A big thanks to You Steve and your team for running this car You make a lot of late 70's rally fans very happy. It a shame we didn't see a 131 Fiat competing as well, never mind too much the Stratos was well worth standing in the cold for.
Cheers
I think they had a word at Croft about it, but fine everywhere else?
There are some NIMBY's at Croft who moved into housing that wasn't there before the race circuit was.
It must be more a tuned straight(ish) through system now. When the silencers were taken off at Chatsworth it sounded too harsh. 'Lovely noise now.
Here's another one:
