As some of you will know I have been working on a undertray / splashguard for a while, having originally worked from a rough brown paper template we have gradually got to the stage of having an accurate pdf, and the prototype you can see in the pictures, There are still a couple of things that need doing (rear fixing holes and relief around the towing eye) then the first production version will be going onto Rene's Hawk rebuild. I have deliberately used the words undertray / splashguard, it is not designed to be a sumpguard-or what would have been if it wasn't mid-engined.

First fitting of the actual splashguard, still a little bit of work to do around the towing eye (to leave room for a shackle or rope) final holes drilled, nice flush floor and fits like a glove
It doesn't look like that for long!
Let us know when production parts are redy

Finished item, with the fabricated recess for the tow rope or shackle. Rene this is the prototype cleaned up, not your new pristine version, the swirl marks are the brake cleaner used to remove the indelible ink.

Looks good Griff, Will it affect the cooling do you think?
Alan, good to get confirmation that cooling is unaffected, does it help with turbulence under the car at all?
