One year into the build (see Happy Easter Bunny!) and a few problems that someone out there may be able to help me with.

1) The front engine mounting main tubular support fits perfectly, but the brace won`t fit with the casting that`s on the 24v engine. There is a stud in the right place. I can throw the casting (mounts the A/C pump originally), make a spacer or remake the brace. Or does the 12v casting fit?
2)Motronic wiring.
I have a grey AMP two pin plug with no home! It has a grey (live supply) and a blue/white which goes to pin 37. My pinout chart defines this as connected to a Cam Actuator Relay . My pinout has no mention of EGR valve connection (I`ve binned the EGR). I am 80% happy that it`s a misprint on the chart and pin 37 should be designated to EGR. Hoping someone might be able to confirm.
The original engine management loom interfaces with the rest of the car in two places. Close to the ECU, a connector goes up to the facia area, it has small dia yellow/red, blue/red, white/red and black. I assume the black is an earth and have a nasty suspicion an immobilser is involved with the others. However, the white/red only goes to the diagnostic socket, the yellow/red goes to pin88, blue/red to pin8.
Is there some way of `substituting the immobiliser signal` with a live or earth, OR, will the ECU function without these connected, OR. can these ECUs be `de-immobilised` by a specialist?
The second interface is a circular plug at the top of the nearside scuttle/bulkhead. Most of these are dealt with but I`m left with a small grey/black that goes to pin73 and a small pink/black that goes to pin11.. Any clues on these please?

I`ve tried looking at wiring diagrams on the 164 register site. No mention of the (suspected) EGR plug and pretty vague about immobiliser function.

Any help gratefully received!
Thanks.
Simon.
