This isn't a Cox, but based on the later Heerey version that was built in Stockport, spookily enough my first Kit Car as well (1979) it was also a rally car and as close as I was going to get to a Stratos on my wages, the reg was POP 630 R, ran a Gp.2 spec 1293 S motor and S/C C/R 4 speed box with a 3.9:1 diff on 10" Minilites.
