    That's a good find Guy, that would be a spot on steering wheel as it's almost a perfect match to this very well know car .



    Get it retrimmed to match and I would have thought the long spoke trim would cover the two outer most holes leaving just the single inner hole visable.

    It's a good start anyway, not sure how rare they are.

    I'd ask a question or two of the seller before spending that sort of money on it. It'd be a shame to buy it and find it's the wrong diameter? At the price they are asking it may be around a while? If it's not far off it could be a useful pattern for a tool? The spokes look it's fabricated rather than pressed?

    Chrome handbrake lever too?

    Cheers guys. We think Waldegard used a special one without the holes that somehow better suited him - maybe for safety reasons.

    The photo that Vince posted is the same car, different driver, it's Robin Ulyate's number 6 1977 Safari car.

    As Guy says, the Miura wheel is too large in diameter.

    Quite a few of the Ferrero wheels had that six bolt fitting ring in the centre. I know the photo of the Waldergard car doesn't, but it could be used to disguise a Monte MOMO wheel, and to have the bolts on the larger circle and in between each of the existing holes?

    I think some early Integrales had a similar three spoke steering wheel to the MOMO Monte one.

    It looks like the bend in the spokes is on a straight line.
    So it would be much easier to make one up than (for example) it would be for the 4 spoke Stradale wheel.
    I remember Gerry said the four spoke one needed some tooling because the bend for the dish is on a radius.

    The two spoke Ferrero wheels also have a bend on a straight line, so they could possible be cut and formed too. The two spokes do tend to come up for sale much more often than the others though. When I say 'often', I mean twice a year!

    Yes, I think you might be right.
    The radius should be the same as the Stradale Ferrero, so I wonder what Gerry's tooling consists of?
