For those interested, i started with the restauration of my Alpine by removing the chassis. It was a bit bent so i send it to a specialist to make it as new again. A new front section is being welded on, chassis is getting sanded and then painted. I also found a picture of an Alpine with what looks like ciffin spokes

Wow, those wheels would look great on my Scorpion (US model Monte Carlo), but didn't see them listed under Lancia or Fiat, must be under Alpine. Wait, are those three spoke wheels??? I need a four spoke version. It would look great next to the five spoke ones on my Stratos.

Nice to see it coming along Pim looks good, missing the Strat yet?
Yes Ian,
I do miss it, especially the really nice sound from the Alfa V6 But i bought a nice megaphone tailpipe for the Alpine as well
I also miss the forum, always something happening here, love to read and lurk around. The Alpine forum in Holland is a bit more quiet, OK guys though, always ready to help as well.
Cheers

Thanks for the update Pim.
I think most of us on here are rally fans first, as well having as a keen interest in the more charismatic cars of the rallying's golden era.
Especially when you're old enough to remember seeing them in period. (Jean-Luc Thérier, 1971 RAC).
Hi guys,
I won't be bothering you with my Alpine stories anymore, if anyone is interested they can follow the restauration on my new website: http://www.alpine-a110.nl/
