ProtoTipo makes a very good copy using a Momo horn push with an adapter ring to suit. Closest I've seen to the real thing!

Can vouch for what Guy says but with one exception you dont need an adapter ring if you get the right blank momo button!
I would think Michael has the skills to make something similar to the 4 that I've made so far.
The thing is, an unmodified original Stradale steering wheel will not take a MOMO sized horn push.
The horn push hole is too small, so the original horn push is unique.
I've found that the original Stradale Ferrero steering wheels often have the horn push hole enlarged. Usually to MOMO size.
You'd hope this was done in period, but it still seems like sacrilege to me.
That adapter for the Hawk replica steering wheel really was a labour of love Guy. I don't think I'd want to make another.
I also managed to trash a MOMO button in the making of Guy's, so it really wasn't an easy job.
Here are 4 of the 5 made so far. I'd forgotten there are 5. The bottom right is made in a different, and easier way to the others. Tim's is not shown.
Tim, Guy's needed an adapter because his was the only Hawk steering wheel button.
Only your's and the one in the bottom right of the photo of 4 were made using a genuine MOMO blank, which as we found, are very hard to find.

Very nice repro horn buttons Prototipo.
I also would consider to make a replica button myself. But before doing i wanted to check if i can get a spare one ...
It would seem that I have one of these (surplus to requirements) the alloy ring on the back is a compressible spacer
Guy, extra pictures you asked for, Griff
