My car was originally going to be a red stradale with no spoilers because I saw a VW Variant for sale in Liverpool with the plate BUC311T (I see now it's on a SORN'd Cadillac). There is (was?) an original Stratos BUC113T... Fortunately i managed to get PFY3T!

If you email the DVLA they will tell you if it's ever been issued. If not they will put it into an auction - they won't sell directly to you for some reason. Takes a while to happen though, 6 months+ in my experience.Quote:
