I had this problem for a while recently both the photos and the return button when using explorer. Uploaded Google Chrome and the problem was solved.
Yes I have just tried on a win7 and win8 machine with IE and none of them work at the moment I have no solution for it at this time either,.....
If you can use Chrome or firefox I would...
Worked fine from the Mac last night.
