    Re: Insurance

Thanks I'll mention the club when I give them a call, in the past I always used Adrian Flux so I'll give them a call as well and compare prices, no idea what to expect at the moment.

    Re: Insurance

Get your Normal car registared in both names like Jayne and I do... Yes you can before anyone tells me you can't all our vechiles are registered in both our names.
No cost bar a stamp and that could solve the problem for you..

    Re: Insurance

That would solve the registration problem, but the insurance is also in Bev's name, that would need changing as well so it starts to get complicated ..........

    Re: Insurance

True, but as the registered keeper you would be able to insure Bev's car thus you have a car insured in your own name then...best I can offer on this one.

    Re: Insurance

Neil, multi car would seem to be an option, i.e. both cars on the shared policy, Equity Red Star would be a good place to look, the other place may be Chris Knott Insurance

'Same for me. Hagertey wouldn't quote for my Stratos rep. 'Something to do with the year of registration. I think?
I went with Adrian Flux, but have used Footman James previously.

By the way, don't ever pay for a new policy with a credit card, unless you're sure you're not in a recurring payment situation. Recurring payments can not be stopped in the same way that direct debits can.

    Re: Insurance

I've been with adrian flux for the past couple of years and found their quote the cheapest and even after my claim with them(M1 spin) their quote was good so have stayed with them. Also got an agreed value with them which helped settle my claim quicklier (couldn't decide whether to put quicker or quickly)

    Re: Insurance

I am tending towards adrian flux at present, just need to confirm with them re the agreed value - also need to get an alarm installed..... good job I have a few weeks, as there is no engine to imobilise, no lights, no dash etc etc etc.... Talked to my local alarm guy & he would prefer to have at least some of the above bits present before he does the install......
