To the best of my knowledge nothing has been modified on the software side (though as I'm not the web master any more this might not be 100% accurate). Normally I would anticipate this sort of "artefact" to be caused by a slip of the finger. Sometimes dropping a single (and apparently unimportant character) can cause software to miss-interpret what you wanted.... Just one of those things.

It looks like it's confined to that post, no update have been done and the only thing I can think of is the permission sets for the topic have disabled tags.

Still doesnt work on PM's. If you press reply with quote I find it impossible to get the cursor to move to write your reply. I have resorted to creating a new PM in order to reply.

    Re: Quote function malfunction

I've now discovered that the way to reply to a PM is not to hit the "reply to message" button - but to go straight to the area below the inbound message and type your response and then hit the "submit" button ( I think i've got that the right way round - I'm going from memory)
Therefore not sure what the "Reply to message" button actually does ??
