I've never driven one. I sat in one of the cars on show at Stoneleigh about 127 years ago when I was first thinking about getting one and I had a little run in the passenger seat of a demo car just before I put my deposit down in 1998 or so but that's my full experience. Some of my memories may be a bit fuzzy tho but even back then, as a schoolboy, it all seemed quite exciting. I'm sure I would have remembered if it had a Japanese engine in it tho. I mean, some things stick in the mind
