Made a few generous donations to the distressed Stratos restoration fund, but otherwise not too far gone, sitting in the barn.
Could be a Prototipo donor....![]()

Sat in a real one, may never wash again!
Thanks Paul,
'Interesting.
The wheel arches are grp on those. The originals had alloy arches. I notice some variations on the engine covers too.
'Later type 16v (Thema/Integrale) type engine fitted too (carbs and exhaust the opposite way round to a Beta/Monte/124/131 etc.) So they'll be quick?
Yes, I'm not sure how accurate they wanted to be with these cars, two have been around for quite a few years now, at least 15. The husband and wife drive those. The third is driven by the son and is relatively new. Hers still has an 8v engine from a Beta. They are pretty quick, running middle to top of the fields they compete in. The fields are determined by lap time more than anything else, so there's a wide variety. Hard to know what to compare them too really. They are faster around the track than their 348 and 355. Yes these people have far too much money. He also has two e36 European touring cars.
Oh yeah, no McLaren can am car this year which was a surprise, there normally an M8A. There was a McLaren M22 in the formula 5000 race mixed in with a while heap of Lola T332's etc.
