Think Chris has decided, just the matter of convincing Vicky...

A Strato's replica build isn't for the faint hearted at the best of times but an early '90's Corse would require someone with prior knowledge of building a kit & someone who is more than proficient in the black art that is fibreglass to complete the project. Maybe another one for Mick Covill to look at?
We all know it won't be easy. I doubt that would stop a fight between the people for whom a new Stratos replica kit is out of reach?

I've decided what it should be worth, and guessed what price it will actually get to.

If that's Newport South Wales, it's not far from Worcestershire!

Good grief....I must have really upset you guys for you to be wishing that onto me again!....

...I stand by what I said way back. If money was no object, I'd be beating a path to Craig's door to order myself a Toyota powered LB kit.

Whilst I might be uniquely qualified to take on this EBay offering.....I think it's fair to say I only had one project like that in me. Just looking at it brought back some memories I'd rather not retain!

If anyone on here is contemplating buying it, I wish you well, but be prepared for a lot of work. Who knows what will be missing from the collection of parts on offer that you will have to fabricate yourself.

I'll stick to my Midlana project until that lottery win comes in I think, although I can't deny that the vote of confidence in my potential to take Corse on is flattering

Chris' comment is spot on though I think, there will be someone out there in the same position I was, desperate to have one but without the funds to do it the (relatively) easy way.

Why do you say "not the same car" Craig?
I didn't look at the gumtree listing that closely. Maybe you know where that one is?!

This is the 3rd "Corse" that has come up on either eBay or Gumtree, The one Chris has referenced above is the scratch build chassis abomination with Corse body work which passed through Mick Covill's hands before ending up with a man named Henry in Italy.
The one to which you refer I am aware of as I have met with both a prospective buyer & the actual owner. That one had a Ferrari based rear cradle & if you look really carefully you see that this one has an Alfa based rear cradle. To the best of my knowledge the Ferrari one is still in the aforementioned barn until the owner arranges transportation to his new address.

So were any of these the kit which supposedly belonged to Yosuke and reportedly had much work done to the bodywork?
Doesn't seem that way from appearances. So that must have been a different animal entirely?
